What about the law?
I recently finished a study of the book of Hebrews. I have to admit I had the book all wrong before I studied it without the help of a good gospel focused teacher. I used to try to just read Hebrews, rather I would plow through a chapter or two and get discouraged by the admonitions in some paragraphs and give up. I just couldn’t bear the weight of what felt like unrelenting law. But God, through a gospel lens has changed all of that….
After this study my view of what really sanctifies us has been clarified. My hope is as I share these thoughts, it will encourage you to think more on these things, and Gods amazing saving and sanctifying gospel will become more exciting. That you will understand your hearts desire to be free to love, free to fail, free to enjoy life…
